Welcome to the home page for the NCAT Pavement Test Track.  The primary objective of this site is to successfully communicate our experiences to the world as we strive to assist governmental agencies nationwide in streamlining the practical application of research designed to extend the life of flexible pavements.  We appreciate your feedback.

UPDATE - As of the close of business on January 31st, 1,014,547 ESAL's had been applied to the surface of experimental mixes on the tangents of the Track.  This represents approximately 10% of the two-year goal of 10,000,000 total ESAL's.  No cracking or appreciable rutting had occurred as of this date.

PLEASE BE PATIENT - THIS PAGE HAS BEEN MOVED TO A MORE RELIABLE SERVER AND MUST BE DEBUGGED!

Over the hour ending at xxxx on xx/xx/xx, the air temperature at the Track ranged from xx to xx with an average of xx °F.  The pavement surface temperature ranged from xx to xx with an average of xx °F.   The temperature at the bottom of the experimental mixes ranged from xx to xx with an average of xx °F.  The moisture content in the top of the subgrade ranged from xx.x to xx.x with an average of xx.x mass percent.  Over the 24 hour period that just ended, x.xx inches of rain fell.

Efforts are underway to incorporate video, ESAL count, and environmental data in real (or near real) time.  Please check back often.
